do you think women in Canada and America should be allowed to go topless like men do?
In countries all over the world especially France women are allowed to walk around topless like their male counterparts.Should Canadian and American women be allowed to do the same without getting arrested?
What's your view and reason?

I have no idea where you get your information from - if you were to visit France you would find out it is not as you say. I've been to upwards of sixty countries and none allow women to walk the streets topless. At some beaches, yes, and France even has a law to allow topless sunbathing on all its beaches, but it's getting less common, particularly as more and more girls are ditching topless sunbathing in favour of thongs.

In Virginia Beach, Virginia, there is a law that could actually allow a woman to go topless. It read something like 'A woman must wear a cover on the store side of Atlantic Avenue'...paraphrasing. This could be misconstrued as a woman can go topless on the OCEAN side of Atlantic Ave.
A gal bought a thong bathing suit at a store on Atlantic Ave a few years ago. The beach cops told her she couldn't wear it on the beach! haha She went back to the hotel and put on her crocheted bikini. She got arrested for indecent exposure. NO LIE!

to answer your question- yes, but we in America are so freakin caught up on politically correctness, censorship etc.. I blame the right wing Christians for forcing their wishes on us here in the US.
If a woman wants to go topless at a beach, then why the heck not? designate an area, alll beachgoers over 18, I see no problem! you dont want kids seeing it? Dont let anyone under 18 into the beach....

would be a wonderful thing i would like it a lot.
even though there would be some that u dont wanna see just like anytrhing else but u have to out weigh the bad with the good on that.
that is half the reason there are so many problems around here with the sex thing like janet at the super bowl cause it is a major no no and it is no big deal look at all the other countries like u said

Yes, I do. Here in NY a law was passed years ago that allows women to go topless on beaches. To bad it's such a prudish, uptight region.

It should be ok for both. It really irritates me that we can't go topless but guys can. I'd be the first one to lose the top if I could without getting arrested.

It's already legal in New York State, but I have never seen a woman actually take advantage to this fact. Societal norms are a much stronger inhibiting factor than the law, apparently.

How about France looks to the West to learn some decorum? I don't think men should go shirtless in most situations, and in those that are acceptable I don't think women should be topless. I adore women, and I love seeing them topless so I would hate for that to become banal and trite.

Sure, why not. There is no physical or safety reason for women to cover their breasts, other than to protect them from the sun or being too cold. Nude all over is even better for both sexes.
