I can not recall a write, but a character. Elizabeth Bennet the heroine of Jane Austen’s novel "pride and prejudice"
I am the second eldest of 5 girls, from a poor family, I’m considered the humorist. The eldest, being beautiful, and the others being silly, and the two youngest wild. < Darling if you knew my life and family, you would completely agree, it’s quite disconcerting really. Eliza’s father, mother and all siblings act the same as though Jane had written the book about my family, sadly though there is no rich husband for me.
The least? Charles dickens, his work is so depressing and long, when writer’s got paid by the word, I think he misused that. He seems so gloomy in his works all together.

My Wife is the only writer with whom I have rapport. I don't know any other writers personally, so how would I have rapport with them?

Not sure what you mean by "rapport", exactly, but an author I have enjoyed is Barbara Kingsolver; one I haven't liked at all is John Updike.
