I'm 17 and i want to open a bank account can i do that online without my parents permision if yes how? and where help please.

Yes, you can open it without your parent's permission.
Select the bank where you want to open your account.
Do an online search for their website.

Follow instructions to open an account. You will need your social security number.

Even better, go in to the bank and do it. Even if you open it on line, you will still have to go to the bank.

Save some time.

Alot of banks require you to be 18 to have your own account. The bank I work at allows us to open accounts for people under 18 but there parents need to be on the acct and their parents are responsible for it. Legally banks can't open accounts for minors without a parents permission.

No, if your under 18, the law says your not responsible enough to controll money in a bank without your parents name on the acount. They really have no athority in the account, but there name has to be there untill your 18.
