Yes, it would be wrong. If you want to sleep around, or see other men, you need to get a divorce, or at the very least a legal seperation, and your husband needs to know. He'll be a different person in 4yrs. and so will you. If you don't think you can "wait for him", then you need to let him know and go about it the right way. With Pride and Dignity. Good Luck !!!

well... I personally wouldn't see anyone else. What if he wasn't in jail and he went to Iraq? Would you still feel the same way? Even if your husband DID approve I don't think its right. You are in a life time commitment and nothing should be able to break that. I think it just depends on your beliefs and your bond with your husband. It could ruin your marriage in the long run. He will most likely get jealous get really hurt that his wife couldn't or wouldn't wait on him. But at the end of the day, this is YOUR decision and I don't think that other peoples opinions should matter.

My husband is in prison. But it doesn't mean my marriage vows disappear. I have three choices, cheat on my husband (which is against my morals and wrong) or I get a divorce and then see other men, or remain faithful to my husband and wait until he gets home.
Because my husband committed a non-violent crime, I decided that I would stay by my husband and respect my vows. I have been faithful for 2 years with a couple more to go. No one ever died from lack of sex and there are toys out there.
You need to decide which is more important, your marriage or your sexual needs. Just don't cheat on him...divorce him first if you feel like you can't wait.

If you're married and he goes to jail and you see other men you are cheating on your marriage. The only person who can judge whether it is right or wrong is yourself and your own morals and values and self respect. If you want to phuck around when your husband is in jail then get divorced.

I can't believe it I just came home from doing 4 years. My wife was seeing other men, I tolerated it because there was nothing I could do about it. The thing that was F'ed up was that she lied about it and started treating me differently when I came home. ow, we are separated because she couldn't tell the truth. Just be honest and don't let any guy come between you and your husband.

Yes. The only excuse for cheating is the finalization of divorce papers - when it is no longer cheating. You need to divorce him if you want to break your marriage vows. Until then, you are still bound by the marriage contract.

I think you should have a talk with him. Maybe he will say it's OK to see other men, may be not. If not then you have a choice - divorce him, stay faithful or cheat. I don't recommend #3.

yeah of course it is... its still cheating no matter what but if you plan on leaving him then its not a big deal...
they have those conjugal visit there so its not like you wont get any action.
If hes in jail for a serious crime that you didnt know about like somthin he lied to you about then maybe you should re-evaluate your relationship and move on. what if you get involved with another man and fall in love with that person then you would be stuck with a tough decision . ultimately it all boils down to how much you care about you husband and if your ok with thew crime he committed and of course if theres kids involved.. think before you leap

Hell yea it's wrong. Go ahead and divorce the dude, if you think YOU just can't wait. Having your wife cheat on you HURTS, in or out of jail. When he gets out, he is already going to have a sh!tload of other stuff to deal with.

ummm....lemmie see, there are those vows you took - you know the ones, that specify that you will stand by him in good times and bad, sickness and health - etc...
If he goes to jail for that long you have two choices, be faithful and supportive and buy yourself a toy to satisfy yourself with - or divorce him and go about your life.
