im thinking of buying a icy dragon sword on guild wars and put a hole bunch of upgrades on it but people want 20k for it.
does anyone know how i can get it cheaper or how to get 20k real fast. no cheats

That's the thing about MMOs - the market sets the value. Good weapons sell for lots of money. You might try doing underworld runs to get good drops, in hopes of finding a good sword or other items that you can sell for lots of gold. I personally bought my monk's staff for 25 Platinum.

There is no "best sword" in the game. An icy dragon sword looks nice but it is no better in combat than any other cheap skin sword.
Just pick the sword that you like the looks of the best and mod it to your tastes. If you pick a rare skin though like the icy dragon sword then you'll need to pay for it.

If you are looking for functional, Dragonswords are garbage, since they are always elemental.
Icy Dragonswords are expensive because you can't change the element on a Dragonsword, and the Icy ones are only available in a small area far from town from a small group of enemies.
