Yes, without a question, and I'm not even a Mizzou fan.

If you are the #1 team in the country and lose your conference championship, then no question you should get a BCS at-large bid over the idle team ranked #15 at the time (Illinois) with 3 losses from the Big-Ten.

In fact, they are ranked higher than Kansas and Illinois in every poll, from the AP to the BCS. How do they get left out?

What does it fairly remember? the massive XII shares the $$$ from the bowl video games so Mizzou gets their common proportion. that isn't be the respond some opt to take heed to however the BCS is screwed up besides the undeniable fact that that is all we've. Controversy will ensue each 12 months and somebody is unquestionably not happy. won't be able to Oklahoma say they have been snubbed via not being interior the championship sport? particular yet plenty will disagree. Do the two communities there should be there? i don't be attentive to, some will argue they do and others will say they don't base line is next 12 months somebody else gets the shaft so each physique in simple terms get in line and wait your turn to have it rammed up yours via the BCS. Who fairly gets snubbed are the followers because of the fact so few administration something maximum American are so obsessed with. A playoff could be the only way we are able to be sure who a real champion is thru pitting the appropriate against the appropriate for each and all the marbles. till then we are able to basically dream of what could have been on condition that we had carried out this or that interior the season to have carried out what could have positioned our commonly used into the massive dance. next 12 months is what 117 different colleges are frequently left asserting and 2 vying for the coveted prize, the BCS championship. Steven, Mizzou did not play OSU for the massive XII they performed Oklahoma college. comparable state thoroughly distinctive colleges.

I would say that they deserved a BCS game, but I wouldn't say they got snubbed. With the exception of the National Championship game, the individual bowl committees pick which teams they want to play - and only 2 teams from a conference can play in a BCS game. KU managed to convince the Orange Bowl to pick them over Mizzou. Blame that on Missouri's athletic director and nobody else. He obviously didn't do as good of a job selling his team and their fans to the BCS committees as KU did. I will tell you that the Orange Bowl is going to be kicking itself for picking the Jayhawks though. KU fans don't travel and last I heard they've only sold a handful of the 30,000 tickets allotted. My sister actually got an e-mail from the KU athletic department the other day that was all but begging alumni to buy tickets to the game. But back to the original question - no, they didn't get cheated out of a BCS game. I personally think they should have gotten a BCS game, but KU got the game over them fair and square.

Illinois got picked over them because the Rose Bowl wanted to keep the Pac 10 - Big 10 matchup in that game. That's a long standing tradition and will always be the way that game works out if it's a possibility.

If you have half a brain and a 3rd grade math ability, youd know Mizzou was snubbed. KU over Mizzou?! Im still baffled over that one, and Im not even a fan of the Big 12 or anyone in it! Just blows my mind. And no matter how many Kansas and Ohio State fans I see posting ridiculous answers, it still is unjust. I am a HUGE Georgia fan, but at least I can admit that LSU deserves BCS NC game over us!

Being an OU season ticket holder and attending the Missouri game in Norman, I felt Missouri had a good enough team to be ranked higher in the polls and subsequently a better bowl. However, they have not proven they are quality enough for a BCS bowl.

Missouri has a problem in the fact that they seldom get into a big title game and this made a difference in San Antonio.

it's debatable, but i think so...when you think about it, by putting in kansas, you are rewarding ku for losing to mizzou...who's to say that ku would have gotten any closer against oklahoma than mizzou did? so if ku had beaten mizzou and then lost to oklahoma, would mizzou get in over ku? that's why i think it was a snub

yes, they deserved it more than Kansas. but the fact is, Kansas at the bowl game will make more money than Mizzou. don't listen to the naysayers, it all comes down to $$$$$$$$$$

Kansas blew their shot when they played the only legit team on their schedule.

No. They had two chances at OU and lost both times. The second loss made sure we didn't made sure we weren't gonna get cheated in the National Championship game.
