triangle has 3 sides

one side =4
another side= sqrt 5 -sqrt 3
other side= sqrt of 5+sqrt of 3

Perimeter is found by adding all 3 sides
4+sqrt 5 -sqrt 3+sqrt 5 +sqrt 3=

sqrt 3 and -sqrt 3 cancel
4 + 2 sqrt 5

I think you are saying that you have a triangle with one side = sqrt(5)-sqrt(3) and another side = sqrt(5)+Sqrt(3) and you are asking to finf the perimeter.. This question can only be answered if we are talking about a right triangle.

I'ii assume these are the two legs of the right triangle. If so, then the hypotenuse = sqrt(28) = 2sqrt(7)

So perimeter = 2sqrt(5) +2sqrt(7)

Basically in order to find the perimeter you just need to add up each number. Let me see if I understand your given information correctly:

Side 1 = 4
side 2 = sqrt(5)-sqrt(3)
Side 3 = sqrt(5) + sqrt(3)

Now just add everything up and combine like terms:

Perimeter = 4 + sqrt(5) - sqrt(3) + sqrt(5) + sqrt(3)
=4 + 2*sqrt(5)

(notice that since I am adding sqrt(5) together it equals 2sqrt(5). Similarly, -sqrt(3) + sqrt(3) = 0. This is the same principle as if you added -2 + 2 = 0)

If I read you right the 3 sides are
4
sqrt(5)-sqrt(3)
sqrt(5)+sqrt(3)

If you add the 3 sides together you get 4+2sqrt(5)

triangle=3 sides

1 side =4
other side is = sqrt5-sqrt3
other side is = sqrt5+sqrt3

Just add all 3 sides
4+sqrt5-sqrt3+sqrt5+sqrt3

now cancel -sqrt3 and +sqrt3 cause it has +and - sign (take note -++=- or zero)
and you will come up with an answer of

4+2sqrt5

(the 2 sqrt5answer came from sqrt5+sqrt5=2sqrt5)
