Not unless you have a friend who works for the police dept. They can run them at the counties expense.
Or like Rick above said go to the county court house where the person lives (as well as counties they lived prior)and anything done in the court system that is public record you can view as long as you are not in one of the 3 states that does not allow it for privacy protection.

After going over this, I just utilized the service spoken of by the NJ State Trooper on here. I come from a very strict Jewish family, and I have been dating a non-Jewish girl for some time now.. A girl who my parents do not approve of. They think there is something very wrong about her. They believe she has a shady past, like she is violent or into drugs or something. To prove them wrong, I decided to run that background check on here from http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com .. I came across many interesting things.. many of which I won't get into.
The report was VERY thorough. What I did find, which turned out to be a deal breaker, was FOUR TRO's(temporary restraining orders) 2 were dismissed, the other 2 were finalized into a final restraining order(lifetime restraining order) ... The ones that were finalized were as a result of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE and the other for STALKING. I was shocked when I saw this. I guess sometimes you can never really know who you might be dealing with!

You can check arrest records on most county sheriffs office websites. All of them in FL list arrest records for free. Try that, I haven't found any free "background check" sites

Yes.
You can go down, personally, to every court where you think there might be a record of the individual, and look through all the case records for free.
Imagine how much work it is to that across the country, and you'll see why the sites that DO, and then put the data on the web, have to charge so much for it.

I can't find one and I've looked. However, some aren't that expensive, $20 or $30 dollars for one report. You have to weigh if it's worth it, if it is a new boyfriend or nanny or renter, pay for it.

in word no!if u are not sure off someones background you can ask the police, only if you have new partner and you have kids, you could employ someone from the security/private but that will cost, but then again what is money if you want to know if you are involved with crackpot.
