there is always SOMETHING to do. Read a book, shop online, go to this lovely place and argue with the Fundies, find a good charity and go do some community service, etc....
tons of stuff, you just need to use your imagination. Get the yellow pages, close your eyes, stick your finger in a place at random and see what you see. See if you can't find something to do just from looking at a page in the yellow pages.

Sleep. Catch some rays. Watch a sunset. Watch a child play. Listen to the leaves rustle. For you, go out on the fire escape and listen to the pigeons cooing.
