Store brands are good, but some things I just have to get names brand. One of the grocery stores I've been to, I only like the name brand because I think the store brand is nasty.

I have a family of 10 with 8 of those being kids, so you can imagine my grocery bill. It depends on what I am buying if I get brand name or the generic. Most things I go for the quanity. I have yet to tell the difference in the quality. Neither have my kids. For example I buy the bag Malted Meal cearal just because it last longer and they have the same flavors as Post or others. So it is all what you perfer.

I think it depends on the store, but usually brand name is more rich in flavor. The biggest difference is the price!!

It depends on the store and on the item. For the most part, I like Kroger brands as well as the brand names, except for some items like Spaghetti-Os and Ravioli. But Aldi's ravioli is as good as Chef Boy-Ar-Dees.
