White lies are lies which are believed to be harmless.

I believed that no matter how little or harmless the lies are the intention to lie which is the type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement with the intention to deceive, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, or to avoid punishment is still there and it is not right. The underlying intent is the same and it's bad. The intent of being untruthful than the truthfulness itself is still bad to considered.
A white lie would cause no discord if it were uncovered and offers some benefit to the liar or the hearer, or both.
Lies which are harmless but told for no reason are generally not called white lies.
Practising white lies, are definitely not very good gesture.
As much as possible avoid telling white lies.
We don't need to lie, what's the point of lying... it will be discover as well sooner or later.
White lies smells trouble.
White lies is bad. Lying is bad.

Sometimes we have nochoice but to tell them white lies.
Like if a 5 year old kid asks you how babies are made, do you tell them all about the pp and the vg? I was told the storck story as a child. Also to avoid certain uncomfortable situations and unecessary confrontations, we all have to tell white lies.

Yes, sometimes the best way to tell the truth is by lying.

I do sometimes to appease my son or my daughters specially if I am placed in a situation where I have to pacify one or the other. Or, when it helps to extricate myself from a heated argument which could turn ugly and put me in a disadvantaged position. Some white lies are vital to survival or peace in the household; some are so detrimental it allows dishonesty to thrive.

I have lied before everybody has but i don't anymore because i have realized that it's better to tell the truth than lie about it even if it hurts. Because telling the truth helps you in the long run.

I try not to but sometimes for self-preservation and/or to maintain smooth interpersonal relations, it just can't be helped! I know a lie is a lie is a lie....but if more harm is going to happen if I tell the truth, then I'd rather tell a white lie (esp. if nobody gets hurt in the process).

Sometimes, circumstances force you to tell white lies even if you really don't want to.

Yes. I think that there are certain situations wherein it is important to do that.

sometimes i tell little white lis so that i dont hurt anyone's feelings and I think it is important becuz you dont want to be like 'OMG that shirt looks really bad on you' and hurt someone's feelings right....unless you really dont like them and they insulted you first of course then say whatever you want to them as long as its just an opinion dont say something too harsh......
