- Energy drinks (Red Bull)
- Coffee
- Splash cold water on your face
- Soak a cold, wet cloth and cover your eyes with it for a couple minutes (I HEARD this works... not sure)
- Put on some music and dance for a bit... you might feel more energized.
....Doing something physically active for a couple minutes might help, but if you overdo it you might get tired!

.... And if this is regarding finals (i.e.: cramming for finals and wanting to be alert during the test...)... well.. drink lots and lots of cold water...
And don't cram late night anymore...

the smell of oranges is known to keep people alert. Chocolate is good too. Keep hydrated and limit coffee. Happy testing!!

frequent brisk walks and lots of deep breathing to adequately oxygenate the blood.
