I need a raise that equals 50% of the salary, at least, I can't live with my current salary, What do you think?
Is it professional?
Is it acceptable?
what shall I say?
I really work soooo hard...

If you can show your boss on paper, that you are that productive, and that without you, that productivity would be lost at least for the foreseeable future, then you may have a chance. Otherwise, why wouldn't the boss say that he can get 50 other people to do your job for the same money or less? I'm on your side. Asking for a raise is professional, and acceptable in most businesses. Just don't expect him to roll over and grant your every wish unless you can show him you are making him money, saving him money or making his business somehow more profitable or successful.

Good luck my friend.

You don't ask for a raise, you don't deserve a raise, you negotiate a raise.
If your boss gives you a raise, what's in it for him?

What have you accomplished over the past year? What have you done to help the work get done quicker and better?? Most important, how have you saved your company or department money? How have you developed your own skills which have enabled you to work more effectively and with less supervision?
Get a pencil and paper and start coming up with some facts. THAT will help you the most.
Good luck in preparing your case.
