why is there always a pillion rider in formula one racing(grand prix)

Hey Chandra,

You must get a different telly service to us in the UK - I have yet to see a pillion on the back of a moto gp bike - though Randy Mamola does like to make some people poop their pants on the specially adapted one.

Or something else? As the only useful reason for a pillion in the world of biking is to hold on to the take away, or for recreational sex when you get off!

Bike have not had a " Formula One " cup for about 15 years now. Even when we did, there was no pillion riders.

Do you mean side cars ?

sorry I haven't seen a pillion passenger in Moto Gp. Ever.
Have to agree with Dingo on the reasons for one. Couldn't have put it better. and its funny because it is true.
