Drink something sweet, like cranberry or apple juice, and lie on your side and count movements.
If no movements for 30 minutes, call the doc pronto.

Eat something with sugar in it or caffene. If still not movements after an hour...I'd go to L&D at your delivering hospital! All should be ok. I was like this with my first...she didn't move for a whole day so I went to L&D. Turns out she was actually moving, I just didn't feel any of it (even at 33 weeks!). I am now 34 wks with #2 (another girl) and haven't had her 'not move' yet. She is one active little girl!! Good luck!

my advice, if it would ease your mind to find out everything is ok by going to L&D, then you should do that. I know what it's like to be pregnant and worry. If it's nothing, then it's nice to know it's nothing. A million people could answer your question, but unless they are a medical professional, you will not feel at ease. Oh and don't feel guilty or problematic for calling your doctor when you are worried, thats what they are there for. I know, I was calling my doctor for everything. There are major changes going on in your body, stuff you have never gone through before and doctors understand and are there to comfort you. Good luck and best wishes you and your baby boy.

You need to use your mothers intuition if you think there is something wrong call your doctor. That is what they are there for. Most doctors would rather you bother them then there be something wrong. If you have no spotting or cramping though you are not in labor and are probably overeacting. You should still call your doctor and let him tell you the proper procedures you need to follow. Good luck honey....33 weeks pregnant baby #1

My friend had that problem with her baby boy and he was really big too. She would usually shake her belly around and drink a little bit of soda to wake him up. Just try and relax and remember your little guy is running out of room in there.

If its only been this morning you havent felt anything calm down.
Go lay down with a snickers bar and some chocolate milk and wait for him to move. Any movement is acceptable.
The unborn are like newborns, they spend days just sleeping and barely moving while they grow and grow. Then, in a couple days they are back in action even more so than before. That is normal.
if you dont feel anything by this evening go to LD.

I would definitely say call your doctor. Don't worry about being a bother to him. It's your right to call with questions and concerns and if he a good OB doctor, he is used to patients calling and paging. The fact that your asking us means that your mother's intuition has kicked in. Don't take a chance with your baby's health or your health.
