I recommend the ATI 3870 HD for $250. It is absolute steal for the money and if you wanted, you could run 2 in crossfire. If you only plan on running one card, then go for the nvidia 8800gtx...the ultra is better, but the cost outweighs the performance gained.

Nvidia Ultra. Crossfire means nothing when running only one card.
