try RealPlayer. It's a free download, and will open many music files. However if it is a iTunes coded file, only iTunes will open it.

media player opens only mp3 formats of songs, i think there is another type of format of songs in yr pen drive . if u want to play that songs then u have to convert those songs in the mp3 formats with the help of audio conversion wizard or any other type of media converting software which are easily available on internet.

you can right click on one of them and select open with, then you be given a list of programs to pick from. If they are mp3s they should open in the default program most likely windows media player, if not then you need to select a program to open them with.

Hi. Look at the music files to see what extensions they have. If it is '.m4p' then you need iTunes to play them.
