i think for many of us, when we do one of those, we do the other.

if you're tieing up loose ends, you're forming a closure to whatever previous situation you were in. that leaves an emptiness that requires a new beginning to continually live with purpose...or simply to live

if you are starting a new beginning, it's because you want to move on, and for many people, that means tieing up loose ends so you can move on
