I don't think that anyone would spell it correctly or pronounce it the way you are hoping that they would. My name is very normal but spelled differently, it has bugged me my whole entire life that no one ever spells it correctly and often butcher it in pronunciation... And with a name as easy as Meghan; I think that Lacea would get butchered as well. I like the regular spelling of Lacey and I think that it would be a great name. Maybe try Laci, Lacy or Laycee instead of Lacea. The spelling looks like it should be pronounced like Asia.
By the way I love all your children's names, especially Caden. Good luck with your new baby girl.

I'm sorry, I dislike that. I think Lacey is unique enough as it is. If you hadn't mentioned that Lacea is supposed to be pronounced Lacey, I never would have guessed it. It looks like Lack-ee-ah. She will FOREVER be correcting people on the spelling. I have a last name that is pronounced nothing like it sounds, and I can tell you it is annoying. Even at graduations and other events, when I give announcers the very easy phonetic spelling, it gets mispronounced. Also, Lacea looks like it should be the genus name of an insect. Sorry! I like your other kids' names!

Lacy or Lacey are the only spellings that don't look like an illiterate person wrote them... but since Hailei has already been butchered, why not just go ahead and spell it Lacea? Also, the name is not "unique" - weird spelling or not....

Just speaking as a Lacey, it really freaks me out to see it spelled another way.
If I saw that name without you writing that it is Lacey I would think it was pronounced Lay-sea-ah.
I've had so many problems throughout my life with people getting my name wrong (Stacy? Macy? Kasey? Lathy?) or not knowing how to spell it. That's fine and good, the first time you meet them, but it gets really annoying to know someone for four months or so and they still call you Stacy on a daily basis. I wouldn't go for a strange spelling of this name.

Laceigh! And I like the way you spelled Hailei...But I seriously think Laceigh is a unique way to spell it. Good Luck with you new baby!

I'm not a fan of the bizarre spellings people come up with these days. It's like everyone is trying to outdo everyone else. That's why we have people with names like Keyshawn and Plaxico.
Personally, I would never name a child Lacey only because my goofy cousin was enthralled with a stripper named Lacey and was "supposedly" engaged to her. I can't hear that name and not think stripper.

I dont like the spelling at all. Not on Hailei either, its not unique to me, its just annoying, like a 6 year old trying to spell a word it doesnt know.
But thats just me personally. I like the names, just not the spelling. The spelling to me says lay-see-ah.

People might pronounce it Lace-ah. I'm all for different names...but you have be careful on the spellings. My name is hard to pronounce they way it's spelt and it has annoyed me for 26 years now! LOL
Lacy
Lacey
Lahcey
Lacie
Lacee
Just a few ideas that look fairly dummy proof on pronounciation. Best of luck to you!

I think many people would think it is pronouced Lay-Cia
spelt Lacea. Maybe Lacie or even Lacee, but I think the best way is Lacey. It's a uncommon name anyway, so I don't think there's any need to spice things up- esp if it confuses things.

I think unique spellings of names are a must even with common names, the only drag is pronouncing it. Especially when they go to school and the teacher can't say their name!..awww....but I do like it spelled how you have it and i also like it spelled:
Lasea
Laicee
Lahcie
Laycie
Good Luck!
