i'm unsure why bowl video games might make greater funds then a playoffs. i might think of the playoffs might generate greater sales, exceedingly with greater video games being performed and all the recent exhilaration. situation is, the BCS is a candy deal for the faculties themselves by using fact it somewhat is a certain $a million.3 million or so each and every twelve months and double that if a 2nd team gets in as an at-great. And mutually as they could negotiate a playoff television settlement in the same way, if the massive Ten and percent10 the two carry out, then there'd be if truth be told 2 playoff platforms with those 2 conferences interior the Rose Bowl and all of us else enjoying a playoff device and maximum faculties experience they could no longer get that very same certain money for their budgets with a fractured playoffs. by using fact the 1st answerer observed, as quickly as the massive Ten presidents sensible up and hearth that tumor Jim Delany, a real playoff device could desire to ultimately fall into place.

The first tiebreaker is conference wins, then common games, then strength of those common wins, then strength of schedule. The NFL does not historically like ot use strength of schedule at all as it's far too subjective. Good luck to them, but I don't see the Colts losing their next 2 games, sorry :(

That scenario is highly unlikely because IND plays @ OAK and then @ home vs TENN and HOU, two team they have already beaten on the road...
But to answer you question I think IND wins they tie breaker because they beat PIT last time they play in the regular season.
That's the same reason why if PIT loses a game and SD wins out then SD will be #3. This is more likely to happen since PIT is hosting one of the hottest team this week, the JAGS....
