Belief in Allah's virgins waiting for the terrorist/warriors in his so-called defense of Islam, the peaceful religion.
Religion is fine - religious extremism is not once it negatively impacts the rights of others.
Islam has multiple 'scriptural' references to damaging/killing/dominating others who do not convert and conform to Islam, reducing it to a man-made power-play philosophy.
Any who attempt to be so 'heavenly-minded' that they are no 'earthly good' are worthless for both purposes and to be rejected, shunned and left to rot, preferably in a mass grave.

Well... let me rephrase the question to put a better perspective on it. Why do Americans kill their own people? We have more on death row than any other nation in the world. "Humane" is often another word that we use to describe less gruesome. What truly makes us better in that regard?

It isn't just them, every country has some sort of history. Look at our civil war--Americans killed Americans too.
