I am British and I live in England. And I was wondering, what do you think if us? AND BY THE WAY WE ARE NOT ALL SNOBBY THAT IS MAINLY PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN LONDON, I AM FROM MANCHESTER THE FURTHER NORTH YOU GO IN ENGLAND THE BETTER. lol just had to get that off my chest.

I lived in London for several years and traveled all over the UK. I think that for the most part the people are wonderful--very helpful and they are friendly. There is a culteral difference between the US and the UK which I think leads many Americans to say the British are "snobby". In my experience it's not snobbery at all--it's just that the people are more reserved. Similarly, many British people think American's are too forward and nosy because we ask about things that a British person wouldn't ask about. I think Britain is a wonderful place filled with wonderful people!

I love England! I can't wait to go back. Plus I live on th beach in FL and we have British tourists here all the time and they are usually wonderful!

I lived in England for a year, hated the food, except, of course for the delicious fish and chips! The weather was cold and dreary.

There is no such thing as 'british'. If you are English, be proud of that fact.
The term 'british' is very offensive to the Scots.
