you can not use a phone as a router, you need to buy a router.

your phone can't be a router.

You need to buy a router, connect the laptop and desktop to the router. The router connects to the Internet via broadband (dsl or cable or wimax or ?)

phone =/= router

you can share between computers with a switch, or even easier an actual router from a company like linksys or d-link

a router will also share a broadband internet connection if it connects to the cable/dsl modem...

Phones are not routers, you have to buy one, and then get an ISP provider. call your local cable, or dsl company, I suggest you have them install.
