you need to re-run the setup wizard. If you ahve the cd from linksys run that. if not, plug your pc directly into the modem and go to linkys website and find theire support for setup and download it to your pc. than run the program and follow the directions to get your router to talk to your modem.

or connect the router to the modem and connect the pc to the router and access the router menu. usually you type in 192.168.1.1 and type in your password with is usually admin.

than go to status and click dhcp renew

Unplug the WRT54G. Use a paperclip to hold down the reset button the decrease back of the router while you plug it decrease back in. carry reset down for 40 seconds. The router will reset to all defaults. The default userid is clean and password is Admin. The reset works on all Linksys units.

if you did that then you might have reset it. You shod run the CD again and re-setup your wireless network. Or you can log into your router by putting in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and set up your router that way.

Great question and good luck!

Check the installation instructions. if it is coming with a setup cd, you can use that. Otherwise use the web interface.
There may be also a setup wizard.
Normally dsl modem settings r like PPPoE LLC, vpi/vci - 0/35
and the isp's username and password.

if you want to reboot the router, just unplug it from the power in the future.
