A Barrister in UK says I have inherited money from a bank account there and sent me a copy of his passport and Call to Bar Certificate. He wants money from me and I need to verify if he is a legitimate Barrister and if his passport is real

I have the name and address of the Law Firm he says he works for, name of bank and bank account number if there is a way to verify any of these via Internet

It is a SCAM.
Why do you have to send him any money ? All taxes and fees are taken from the estate before it is distributed. Don't send any money and delete any further e-mails you get from this person.

If you have the details of the business why not call them and see what they see and then if you are still not sure call uk citizens advice bureau for their opinions or advice they can help with anything!!
