Guys correct me if im wrong but wales is colder than england ??

Significantly because it's winter, and in the Northern Hemisphere, temperatures drop in winter time.
Also, because you're stuck between the Northern Atlantic (with none of the residual Gulf Current warmth), and the North Sea. These two extremely cold bodies of water will keep the temperatures on the British Isles lower than many other places with the same latitude.

Well, cold is a relative term. Wales is not cold compared to Siberia, for example, but compared to Florida it is indeed very cold. Two main reasons... (1) it's pretty far north and (2) most of the weather systems that cross Wales come across the Atlantic, which is a pretty cold ocean except for the Gulf Stream current, which has cooled considerably by the time it reaches the UK. Since an air mass generally takes on the properties of the ocean or continent it crosses, Wales gets cool damp maritime weather in summer and cold damp maritime weather in winter.

Because that's the normal temperature for the UK. Parts of Canada and Russia are at the same latitude and distance from the equator but are a lot colder. Britain benefits from a warmer clime because of the warm water flow from the Gulf Stream from the West Indies. So it's not as cold as it could be without that. If global warming takes hold tho we Brits are well in trouble!

Dec-Feb (winter), the northern hemisphere is pointing away from the sun. Just like the southern hemisphere Jun-Aug (their winter). This makes it cold. It also doesn't help that there are no clouds as clouds act like a blanket, trapping heat.

Because you are on about the same latitude with Duluth, Minnesota and that is really cold.
