I was thinking, a pet goat. Because it'd keep the grass short, and its wool could be used. Now they probably will say "You can't keep a goat indoors" but if you train it to come home after having free will of the streets, and then sleep in the spare room it'd be fine. Nothing wrong with that idea, right?

As long as you get a Kasmir goat. Then you can make a cashmere sweater!

Don't get me wrong: goats ARE AWESOME. The only reason I ever go to my county fair is to check out the goats. They're like dogs! Only they eat your clothes if you're not paying attention (in my case, they always go fro my purse).

I just think that the goat would be hard to house train. If you want to deal with the mess, you might try out this idea... See if you can potty train the goat? Then, maybe you can build a "goat-ty" door (like a doggy door), so that way you'd never have to worry about it. By the goat some toys to chew on, and see if the goat will just chew THOSE toys, and nothing of value.

You probably would not want to keep a goat indoors.
Because goats eat trash and they chew on everything. All your furniture would be ruined with teeth marks. They would make a mess in the house (because I doubt you can housetrain a goat) and leave trash everywhere.

Also if you let a goat roam the streets it might get hit by a car. If you really want a goat, I suggest building a pen for it to live and sleep it.

Goats and Sheep (wool grows on sheep) should be kept at a farm as a pet so they can enjoy the outdoors!!

What a great idea! They also make great tacos and burritos if things don't work out.Since you're a wolf, you may enjoy it raw as well.

it's really hard to use wool off a goat. thier hair just wasn't meant to be made into yarn. but a sheep might work.
