Nope. I'll actually pick up other people's litter if I'm in a subway station. People who throw all their crap on to the platform and down on to the track are the ones creating the rat problem and contributing to track fires.
Last night I was coming home, and saw a woman (sitting with a friend) throw her fast food bag out the train door, when we'd stopped right in front of a garbage can. Just tossed it right on the platform. It would have taken no time at all to take a quick step out and toss it in the can, and she could have had her friend keep the door from closing if that were to happen.

No, I am not. That's what pockets are for...to carry things around until you can find a trash can. It's not difficult and it's not rocket science. Anyone can throw things away properly. Only piggy people who think they're entitled to be waited on throw things on the ground.

no, absolutely not. long ago i moved from california to oregon. i decided to empty my ashtray on the ground next to my car. a man going down the street slammed on his brakes and came back to me and scolded me for about 5 minutes. he told me people don't litter in oregon (true) and that i should be ashamed of myself and pick up my mess. i did. and i've never littered again. he was soooo... right. i am glad he opened my eyes.

Yeah,when you think about it,does it really make much of a difference? I mean,sure..it's not good to do..but what's a cleaner earth going to add up to when gasoline is eating the earth's ozone layer?

i used to be, but not anymore. my friend would slam on the breaks eveytime i threw something out the window. then she'd turn around, drive back and ask me to pick it up. Cruel, but I don't litter anymore.

I can't stand littering--I have tried even throwing out a piece of gum drives me crazy to do it.
