the wikipedia articl on labour mobility says so but does not give any reason. can someone answer the reason?

It's kind of obvious, really... If you don't allow people to move to where the jobs are, there will be tons of unfilled jobs in some places and a lot of unemployment in others...

This can also be refuted. Highly mobile labor can also come and go much more quickly. Individuals with the skills may not be interested in constantly moving around. They may find projects that are much longer term and leave the more mobile company.

Therefore, the efficient allocation of resources is negated, as new labor must constantly be sought after.
