thx for responding. 56 answers in 15 minutes. the first guy says sunset over lake. That is what I think. And that lake is Michigan. I lived on the east coast and the sunrises were nice, but very very very bright. thx again.

I prefer the sunset over the beaches of the East Coast, but nothing beats the sunrises I saw on a Hawai'ian vacation!

For people who were born on, and now live on the east coast, it's sunrise. For people who were born on, and now live on the west coast, it's sunset. For the people who were born in the middle of this country, it depends on which coast they 'visited' first ... and if they don't ever visit a coast, then their 'beautiful sunrise/set' depends on the most beautiful place they've been to see that ... at EITHER end of the day.

Sunset. I like the colors of a sunset better than a sunrise. Sunsets have purples and blues and darker oranges. Sunrises have yellows and light blues and bright oranges. It really depends if you like warm colors or cool colors. I like warm colors so I like sunset.

Sunset because of the beautiful colors, plus sunrise you actually have to get up early. LOL

The best I've had was, Sunrise, Easter Sunday morning Mass looking out at the Atlantic Ocean .

i live right on the ocean and both are beautiful i suppose it would be a matter of taste but i like sunrise. it is so peaceful. no cars on the road and just a little dew on the ground. the water splashing up on the rocks it really is a sight to see. i live in northern california on the coast. (when i say northern i mean it we are about 20 minutes away from the oregon border) you really should travel here sometime we also have huge and beautiful Redwood trees. happy holidays!
