What if there was decades of intervention done openly and covertly in America? Why are so many people missing Ron Paul's point the occupation and manipulation of foreign countries breeds hatred and terrorism? Heck, we fought a war against our mother country over occupation and taxes, so we do have some idea. Like he said, the CIA warned about blowback in the 1950's. So terrorism isn't a surprise to those who have worked in the intelligence field.

Well, Mexico's population has gone down quite a bit in recent years, and Canada is messed up as is.
Also, we fought the British because we had no representation for those taxes and also were forced to house soldiers in civilian homes. Not to mention provide for those soldiers. At the time, we were not considered occupied, even by the Founding Fathers, we were considered not being able to have a voice in what goes on in Parliament.
Also, I disagree wholeheartedly with Ron Paul on certain issues, like automatically pulling out. That would be devastating. We did that in Vietnam, and 3 million people were massacred. Not to mention legalizing drugs on a national level would only do more harm then good. We have enough harmful substances that are legal as is, without adding more to it.

Irrelevant! Canada and Mexico could both kick the snot out of an Iranian and Pakistani invasion without the US's help.
Canada has the absolute best snipers on the planet. Mexico's military is even stronger than Canada's due to the overwhelming manpower. There are only three countries currently with the force projection capabilities to successfully invade and defeat Canada or Mexico: Russia, China, and the US.
Japan has the money and manpower, but lacks the military hardware suitable for invasion. This is not to say Canada could beat Japan. It's just to say a fight between them would be a loooong stalemate.

it is an good fact and assessment. even however a hypothetical state of affairs, yet strategically it relatively is relatively like the xerox reproduction of the U. S. invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, with Iran sandwiched in between. the U. S. won't tolerate the same concern for long, and could work together the Iranian forces no longer in basic terms in Canada and Mexico, even with the incontrovertible fact that it may additionally attack Iran immediately. i'm no longer asserting that Iran has been completely unbiased throughout our invasion of its buddies, all of us understand that Iran has offered arm to rebellions/freedom opponents? in the two countries and particularly in Iraq. yet i'm specific that the U. S. reaction to such probability so on the element of its borders, could be plenty extra advantageous than only offering some freedom opponents/rebellions? with palms. curiously, Iran's defense force capability outranks the two Mexico and Canada.(please see the link published) Regards.

1. Well; do Americans in Iraq have valid visas from Iraq? Otherwise they are illegal immigrants there right?
2. If Muslims start moving troops to Mexico or Canada, first of all NAFTA will be banned.
3. Then battle of Armegaden will begin. It is good and bad. It is good as it is an indication of the return of Jesus. It is bad as there will be a world war.
4. So let us hope other nations do not do what US does to them (for fear or faith.)

America's first war was fought against the same ideology that we are fighting today.
They will fight until we surrender or we destroy them or until some divine intervention.
5:39
And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world[]]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do

This concept is repeated through out the Quran and nothing abrogates it .

This is true. When the Soviets put missiles in Cuba we freaked and almost started WWIII. To the poster above who doesnt believe democrats would care; read about Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis. That should help you pull your head out about how the democrats handle breaches of security.

Look, in this world, money and power talks.
If Pakistan or Iran had that kind of military muscle and money, for sure how USA is acting today, Pakistan or Iran would be acting the very same way.

The flaw in Dr Pauls theory is that we are there to colonize these nations - that simply is not true and he knows it. We are there to see them install their own governments, pursue those who did us wrong and then leave.
Dr. Paul seriously wants to blame America for 9/11 and radical Islam. That is why I'd vote for Hillary or even Edwards before I would vote for him - and I've never voted for anyone but a Republican in my life. I'm sorry but that kind of isolationist attitude with 1.6 billion Islamic followers on this planet is FLAT OUT DANGEROUS.
