Games are not my specialty though there may be evidence to the contrary.

I grow tired of them quickly, either becoming very good at them or never learning how to win. I am not much for losing and winning gets boring pretty fast.

As for sports, those are situations that offer some learning to them but they too can become boring if it seems that they are more about winning and less about learning and improving.

I would guess that means I am into the game move for the entertainment of the game than the competition or the win. I like people and like the fact that games allow you to see how other people think and act.

Philosophically speaking, games are a reflection of life and the dynamics people will apply in life. I admire that and tend to get sidetracked in enjoying the spectacle of games.

Thus, I think your answer is for me entertainment.

Happy Birthday

I play games for both sport and entertainment. I would not play a sport unless I also found it entertaining.

However, if I am not playing well and losing I prefer to regard it as just frivolous, meaningless entertainment. That soothes my fragile ego. LOL
