I was so sick for a few days that calling in to work was the last thing on my mind, so obviously I lost my job there, which I was quitting soon because they refused to move me part time. Let's just say there's some bad blood there and i'm still so sick I can't even get out of the house. Is there any way I can have someone go get my paycheck for me? Is that allowed? I would call but I can barely talk my throat is so sore!!! I need the paycheck because i'm quickly running out of money for food!

Call your supervisor and ask what you need to do. They will most likely ask you to put your request in writing. Most employers handle similar requests this way.

do not know wal mark policy but some companies when a person is fired they have to fill out some papers before that final check is issued -- only way you can find out is to wait till you get your voice and call them!!!!

Call your Supervisor anyway and ask them..
I'm sure if they knew who was coming out to pick up your paycheck and they showed ID they would give it out.

If not ask them if they can mail it to you.

A signed, written permission may do it.
