you should never be afraid to say no, even if it will not be the answer people want to hear. If you dont start now, you will end up being a people pleaser who tells everyone yes and never lives for themselves. The best thing to say is no, or I'm not able to do that now, or I wish I could help you with that but I just cant right now. Just suck it up and say it - it will benefit you in the long run.

Say how much you would want to do what you've been asked of but couldn't due to a reason you will have to come up with. That'll put the blame on that circumstance and not you.

Good luck!

Well, I believe this is very attached to each individual way of been, and each have its own style to say "no" based on individual temper...

But you can start by saying... I would love to, I would like to, It sounds very good, but... I can´t, but I prefer not to... due to...

The best you explain the must polite you will be conceived...

There is no real way to do that.
You'll never be able to tell what will hurt the other person.
So just be firm, polite and honest.
In the end that's all that really matters.

I quit talking a little while ago. It was the best idea I've ever had! I've not offended anyone since! In a pinch I say something, but my thoughts are never known verbally.

If you're saying "sorry, no..I can't do that" then whether or not they have hurt feelings is not really your problem. If they're just trying to guilt you into something, then there's no way not to "hurt" their feelings.

Besides, you can either say what you you mean, "no", or say "yes" and lie to them . (*shrug*) Personally, learning the word "no" should not be emotionally devastating...

Depends what you're saying no too... It helps to give a reason why you're saying no, but as long as it's a nice reason ...

Probably saying Sorry but no might ease the blow a little!

You didn't describe a specific situation...
Saying 'no' to someone nicely would just be a simple,
''I'm sorry, but no thank you.''
And if you're saying 'no' to someone who has asked you to be in a relationship with them, just gently say ''No, I'm sorry.'' and explain why you have come to that decision.

just say
thanks but i think i'll do something else.

like...

for instance somebody asked you if they could borrow one of your belongings...
Say...
I'm Sorry But I Don't Really Let People Borrow My Belongings...

Or Just Lie And Say Ur Doing Something With It... Or Say Ur Doing Something Else...
