i would make sure that my mom (who just had a stroke 3 weeks ago) was taken care of.
i would by a house for my mom and myself(outright--no mortgages)
and i would make sure my kids have their college funds put away now.
and buy my husband that mint condition 1970 GTO he has always wanted

First thing I would do is form a corporation and then go claim the ticket in the name of the corporation...especially if it is to be paid in annual amounts that way even if something happens to the actual winner the corporation still remains and any heirs would continue to get the annual payments.
I Would then give notice at work and start my own company doing something I love to do just to keep me busy.
I would invest some of the winnings in the name of the corporation to maintain an income for heirs.
I would spend some of it to take a nice long vacation I deserve it.

I would not retire from my job immediately. I would give the appropriate notice. My employer would need time to find someone adequate to replace me.
I would deffinately pay off our mortgage and all of our bills.
We would love to renovate our home inside and out, I guess we would be able to hire a contractor etc to get that done.
A nice trip to Europe would also be great. Over all, I wouldn't go crazy and buy everything. I would want to take care of our extensive family.

Depends on how much money first of all, I wouldn't quit my job unless it's a more than 5 million after taxes, and then I would pay off all bills, invest, give to charity, buy couple of cars/houses, take numerous trips, and chill out!

Yes, I would quit my job immediately... Then pay off debt and take a long relaxing vacation. Come home and buy a house and new car and treat some friends. Then finally find ways to invest the money to make it work for me.

It depends upon the amount I won. I have two mortgages totalling $650,000.00 US, so I'd pay those first. If I won super truckload of money, I'd buy land, obtain permits and get an animal sanctuary going here in Utah. I'd donate money or buy items for animal shelters and I'd get a permit to have a fennec fox as a pet. I'd also get a piece of land for my friend to run her dog kennels and boarding in peace.

I would buy everyone in my family houses and cars. I would probably quit my job and travel the country in my RV. I would definitely pay for my kids' college educations. I know I would donate something, I would really have to look into that.
I would like to do something that would make a difference.
I would want to make sure that my kids and their kids and so on would be ok. It would be fun, I know that.

I might work for awhile, I really like what I do. But, I think that I would end up buying an island somewhere and just kicking back. I would make more life decisions after I got to my island, but that would be the first.

I would definitely quit my job in a hot second and I wouldn't go crazy with the money..I would be smart about it, investing, etc. But of course I would indulge a little. I would also definitely give money to my parents and brother.

It depends how much I won..if you are talking multi-millions, I would quit immediately and go on a world cruise.
I wouldn't buy too much...I have everything I need in life.
I would take care of my Mother, my kids and buy a Library for a small town with my name on it.
