I have purchased items that I have purchased at a local grocery store and are just fine; the antiperspirant works, the cookies are good.

I have then purchased the exact same items at Wal-mart and they seem to be inferior i.e. the antiperspirant doesn't work and the cookies are either overcooked or undercooked.

It almost seems like the companies are giving inferior lots of products to Wal-Mart. Maybe that's how manufacturer's meet Wal-Mart's price demands?

Hmm. Yuck! UNDERCOOKED cookies.
My Mother told me this morning that the milk
in Wal-Mart has too much hormonal interference
and is causing young ladies many problems
in the ... reproductive system.

So, I will keep an eye on things and never buy
their dairy products.

When your in the buisness of driving prices down, something has too give, either poor quality, manufacturing of products in 3rd world countries with lead contamination in paint, altering food products to give them longer shelf life.

Who's to blame? unfortunatly we are.....we feed the drug addict, as long as we subsidize walmarts habit, they will be more than happy too keep doing what they do, I think Sam Walton would be ashamed of the company he created if he were alive today.
We need to be doing buisness with k-mart and sears and such to level the playing field a little more, if we buy more from these places, they may actually lower their prices also.
