Definitely a mother.
My husband works, and I'm a stay at home Mom (2 kids). I do ALL of the cleaning, cooking, and house chores. And he is not the cleanest person. I end up taking care of hom a lot. He's currently deployed to Iraq for the third time, and I'm sure he'd starve if they didn't have a cafeteria over there.
But I love him with all my heart, and I love taking care of him and our children. It may be old fashioned, but it gives me a sense of purpose. That was a good question.

Do you mean mother in the sense that you sort of "care for" the man in your life? Sometimes... My boyfriend dated a woman who was 20 years his senior before he dated me. (Giant flag, you see...) Age means nothing to him. But as I got to know the situation better, it turns out she was extremely immature. I'd thought that even the most immature person at 53 would at least act 35 but in this case, it wasn't so. He was also raised by his mother. So sometimes, I am like the caregiver in a few aspects but for the most part, it's an even balance. I would never date or be with an immature childish wimp. I already have a whiny, female child. I don't need another one. Woman have a built-in sense to nurture. So of course I have a need to care for him. But if he were too immature, I think I'd lose interest quick because women also have a need to be protected and cared for.

I know with my ex I really wanted to be a lover, but he needed a mother which I guess is why we're not together anymore... I think a wife needs to feel like a lover with her man, not his mother, his partner, his companion!

I am a mother, I would definitely tell my husband to hit the road before my children. Do not get me wrong I love my husband, but could not & would not chose him over my children..My children is there for the long haul a man can sore his oats anywhere and change at the drop of a hat.

It's hard to switch into the lover role, after being mommy all day but it can happen. I try to let my spouse know that I like to be wined and dined and that'll make it happen more often if he does this. It's hard to get into the mood with no romancing all the time.

I dont have a baby, yet I even have alot of associates with toddlers. 4/5 of them might by no ability drag a guy into the existence of her baby without being 200% particular it grew to become into severe. Dragging unusual adult males in an out of a childs existence is particularly unfavorable, i've got seen the outcomes first hand in an ex of mine 2 many years later. yet I even have one pal, that brings diverse adult males returned each and every weeked for one night stand, her undesirable boy (who's now 8) regulary meets them. i've got faith incredably sorry for the undesirable lad, he desperatly desires a male functionality style and he or she does this to him. yet no volume of telling her this might variety her behaviour out. She had him at 14, so i assume its only immaturity yet in my eyes, you cant arise with the money for to be immature in elevating a baby. some mothers do, maximum mothers dont. So i assume you have have been given a sturdy possibility of it being some thing she sees as severe :)
