The deadlock is centered on the AMT and the Democrats want to raise taxes to provide a patch and The Republicans are not about to raise taxes in an election year.

We will save millions a day on government spending, the democrats will lose thousands of voters in the upcoming election and both are good things.

Pelosi spent 3 million on what? How about some facts? What will happen is that Federal employees will begin to be furloughed and. this will continue until congress and the senate cave in, at which point the bureaucrats will be called back to work and be paid retroactively. Don't worry you won't be any more screwed without federal employees or any less

Dems will blame Repubs., Repubs will blame Dem's, and, eventually, after a lot of rancor, a budget will be passed.

If Congress fails to pass a budget... it wouldn't be the first time in history. Business just continues as normal for you and I. So don't fret it.


As for your Congress Poll. Don't worry, when more Democrats get voted IN the numbers will go up.
