Dems: Biden. Repubs: McCain.

Seeing as I doubt either will be nominated, maybe Hillary, maybe Clinton, I think this race would be a close one, very close.

No, though I like Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich. People dismiss the former because he's old, and the latter because of his short stature, prominent ears, and his belief in UFO's. (Which evidently qualifies him as a wacko, according to many a post here on Q + R...) I'm of the opinion that only someone clearly and unapologetically against both the war in Iraq and the Patriot Act could bring any meaningful and lasting change in this country. (And no, I'm not at all optimistic about our prospects, incidentally.)

Won't know until one week before the election.

They are like the wind. One week they say something, next week recant, say something different.

Who knows, maybe there is somebody out there we haven't even heard of yet. That would be nice.

Not sure as they haven't had the conventions yet to let us know who will be the candidates.

1. My old man.
2. If I had to pick one, I'd probably take Ron Paul for reasons I mentioned previously. He wants to return to the wisdom of the Founding Fathers by avoiding foreign entanglements and eliminating Departments not specified by the Constituition.
