I really don't think I'm pregnant he pulls out and I'm on birth control, but you never know right? I'm thinking the latness might be from me not taking my pills right. Could that be it? Should I wait a few more days to take the test?

Clue: If you do not take some of the pills or fail to take them correctly, you will have menstrual bleeding at irregular times, and the likelihood of pregnancy increases.

I suggest you take a test tomorrow the first thing in the morning (use the morning pee). After that you also should contact your health care professional on what to do next if it is negative and you do not get your period in 5 days. If it is positive go to the doctor's for early prenatal care.

Good luck.

If your period is truly 4 days late, then you are not pregnant. Tests are accurate from the day the period is due. It's most likely that you are just late. It's a strange thing, but often the most regular of women start to have irregular cycles when they start ttc. Of course, there is another alternative - that you ovulated later than usual this month, and have conceived, but are not far enough along to get a pos result. You may like to repeat the test in a week if your period doesn't come. But it's highly likely that your period will come. Keep trying. A few months isn't long.

If he pulls out and you're taking birth control pills then its highly unlikely you're pregnant. It could be because you're not taking your pills right. If your period doesn't come before you're due to start taking your pills again, go to your doctor and he'll do a test.

I am on the pill and had a pregnancy test but did it with the doctor because i dont trust shop bought tests when I'm taking the pill.

If you don't get your period, go to the doctor.

I would go ahead and take the test now. If you don't take your pills correctly then there is a chance you are pregnant. And pulling out is not a form of birth control. It isn't too early to test.

your period comes about 4 days into your pill free week or inactive pills (whichever you take). if you go through your pill free week or inactive pills without a period, the chances are you are pregnant. If your period doesnt come by the time you start your new pack, take a test.
