The 25th December is always cold so I don't understand why God didn't make Jesus be born in July when it is warmer - why is this?

First of all, he wasn't really born in December. That's just when people decided to celebrate it. Also, he was born in the Middle East, where it's very warm all year long. Although, it probably gets pretty cool at night time.

well first, as said, he probably wasnt born in december. second, i dont think the weather changes much in the middle east. third, a stable woldnt have been much colder than any other building at the time. its not like they had central heating! fourth, if they really were in a stable, the animals would have kept them warm! lastly, the whole stable thing was probably jusy made up to prove the point that jesus was a common man with the humblest of beginnings, and that all men should be treated as kings, cuz you never know which hard laborers son is really the king of heaven- this type lesson ya kno? if you read all the gospels, the whole stable idea is really only emphasised in 2 of them....

The actual date wasn't in December. Man changed the date to December many years later, rearranging the calendar and things.
And the stable may well have been a bit more closed than is depicted in the artist's drawings. Certainly, God provided enough heat to make it tolerable.
The fact that God made that all happen in a stable is important. Jesus was born to help us all, rich and poor alike.

It's my understanding that Christmas was originally around the time of Easter, or sometime in spring anyway. It was moved to December so there would be a Christian holiday presence where folk (pagan) religions once dominated.

the general agreement is that Christ was born in the spring, not DEC 25. The early catholic church set the day, just as they did with Easter. they also added in (corrupted) many pagan elements to attract new members.
besides, with all that has been done to the holiday, it has little to nothing to do with religion anyway.

No one knows the date of his birth! They randomly chose this date because it corresponded with a pagan festival!
