We are trying to have a kid this is the first month. My period is 3 days late. I have gotten nauseas, and have had heartburn upset stomach a couple times at nite. I had 3 drinks last nite and went to bed. During the nite I woke up and pulled all the covers off and my t shirt (had tank top on) because I was hot. (My Husband said it was nice in the room, He is the first to complain about heat and I love being warm) He got up for class and a short while later I was to warm (not as bad as during the nite) When I got up I took a test and the within 35seconds when I looked at it the not prego sign was up. It was first response (two lines your prego.) 10 mins late its clear as day not prego. Has this happened to anyone??? Could it be that I drank last nite effect the test??
I want serious answers please!

I Dont drink alot VERY lil and rarely this was my first drink in two months.
As for the drinks changing my temp I have never had this prob even when I drank more.

I haven't quite had the same thing happen to me, but with my second child, the home test I took the prego line was very faint, and even two weeks later I took another one (and being my second child I KNEW I was prego but still took a second one anyway) and it was still faint also. I think it just depends on the tests. I'd maybe wait a week or so and do another one and if it still comes out funny, just schedule a blood test with your dr. They are much more accurate and can tell earlier than urine anyway. Good Luck.

the three drinks that you had can change your body temperature.if you are trying to get pregnant the Dr's usually recommend a glass of wine before bed to help you relax. the first noticeable change in your body during pregnancy is your breasts,they become more tender and sensitive also you will feel more tired and want to sleep a lot.

ok it said it was neg. then neg again....did you mean it was positive then neg? The test is invalid if you looked after 10 minutes...I had one that was neg..then an hour or so later be positive....You can only read it in the time that is says..If at first you had a positive..I would test again...and ONLY watch during the time it says....goddluck

alcohol wont have an effect on the test
but the alcohol would make you feel very hot
since your trying to get pregnant you need to stop drinking all together its bad for you and the baby
