Sometimes; but no. I've felt attracted to my opposites as well as my equals.

I've always wished that I had been born to another family.
My parents are deceased now, but I grew up with an alcoholic dad and a totally depressed mother. Also they got divorced when I was 13.
No positive role modeling going on there !

i will say from journey that baby A is the worst way. My husbands brother replaced into spoiled to loss of lifestyles and has now accomplished intense penitentiary time and each thing else reason he figures mommy and daddy could consistently bail him out of any subject that he have been given himself into. As for my hubby, he replaced into the disregarded one. His mom had him youthful then have been given married and had 3 extra toddlers and he kinda have been given tossed aside. It taught him the thank you to be self reliant and place self assurance in himself extremely than others for a hand out. i does no longer say that baby B is a physically powerful thank you to parent yet you probably did no longer provide yet an alternate determination so because it extremely is the only i elect.

I had no dad, and my mom... Well, could do with improving herself by being less materialistic and more of a love giver... People say I am sensitive and kind... But I can be very impulsive and that means I say things without thinking at times, so I tend to hurt the ones I love.Guess no one is perfect:-z
But my husband parents were kind hearted, same as my husband, he`s very kind and understanding;-)
(About your words);
You might get attracted to that kind of people, and that is all that is... But is nothing wrong in getting to know different kinds of people... With different kinds of personality...
But I guess your right in the way that we all tend to get attracted to people we somehow "trust", that somehow complete us... People that are just like your type of person... Because is nothing wrong in stepping into different "persona's" but difficult is understanding their ways... So it might cause you "fear" to try something different... Is alike an unknown territory to be explored...
e.g. Ying - Yang... Two types of energy, Ying is the good in you that brings out yang at times... If not, it stays hidden until a situation makes it "come out".Yang is the strong and disruptive energy in you that hiddes Ying at any cost, but there is a Ying in you wating to "come out"... With this I say to you, even someone that seems perfect as Ying, have a bit of Yang inside... So that person is never perfect or is it? - With this you get to understand why no one is perfect... And why we shouldn`t be judgemental towards ourselfs... Or even towards others.x

That's a good question, my husband and i had similar upbringings, our dads worked and our moms stayed home and raised us. And I do the same with our kids.

This is a good question. I think, for the most part, men are attracted to women who are like their mothers. I think I see your point about women. I think we are attracted to what is comfortable to us. ( even though it might not be the best thing )

I guess it depends some people hate the way they were brought up & might find comfort in someone with a similar up bringing but some people resent that so guess it could work either way...
