It probably won't make much difference to the "universe" since humans have very little influence on it it all, up to now we have barely even gotten a ship out of the solar system. The only thing we can do on our little rock in space is observe the rest of the universe. Maybe sometime in the future we will devise reasonable space travel and it will become commonplace, but even if that happens the universe is so vast that our influence would be negligible.
Even if we completely destroy the earth that will make little or no difference to the rest of the universe.
Now the question, "Will the earth be a better place when this vermin ridden planet is cleansed?" is a good one and if you mean by "Vermin ridden" having all the humans gone, I'm not sure if it would but that would make for a lively debate.

No it will be the same, only the vermin won't be around. You did not say how it would be cleansed. Is that some sort of miracle you are hoping for, if it is then I feel you should bring this vomit up in the vermin section.

No. We are NOT vermin (I am not any way, I am not so sure about you). And the universe is a MUCH better place with humanity on Earth than it would be without us.

Vermin are a part of the evolutionary process, eliminating them will unbalance the natural order of things.
