Has anyone had him do any jobs for them?

No nor John the Builder either, plus it took him weeks, with all his messing around and the mess he left , leaving my hubbie to finish off the job.
Beware of builders wanting money for all the materials upfront, looking like wandering gypsies and asking to borrow tools. Also if their tools and vans don't look clean and cared for then you'll not have clean and tidy builders/roofers. A good builder will takes care of his tools and vehicles because they are needed for his trade. rant over.
I'd look for Bob the Builders Polish cousin if I were you his name is Bobski and does a really good job.My cousin has just employed him, he turned up on time , only took 1 hour lunch breaks, didn't do a disappearing act half way through the day, cleaned up before he went home and the price of the job was a good 'un.

Afraid not hate to tell you this but he's a raving alcoholic, smokes like a chimney and all he sings all bloody day is "Boooooooobb the builder can he fix it". Plus he has alot of trouble getting on the roof even with a ladder seeing as he's only about 2ft tall .

Not at all! I once came home from work while he was supposed to be "fixing the roof" and as I walked in the house I heard noises coming from upstairs. I thought it was odd so i went to look...I caught bob in MY bed wit MY dog! Cheeky barstard!

Not on your Nelly, look for someone from the federation of builders and that way you won't be ripped off by a comic looking guy in a yellow hat.

No i'd get Gary the dad to fix my roof! Lol. I love having a dad who's great at DIY, its just a shame my mums rubbish at cooking!

I had some big problems with him when he redid some stuff at our house....I would highly recommend going with someone else if that is an optjon Bob will give you endless headaches.

I had a good looking builder called Rob he fastened my residing house and outfitted me a good looking new extension, super eating room and a mattress room with un-suite, Bob has no longer something on him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
