Make a table for x and y. Then replace x with a variety and locate the value of y and fill the value on the table , then draw the graph on x and y axis. Y=X^2 X -2 -a million 0 a million 2 Y 4 a million 0 a million 4 The graph would be a parabola bypass during the coordinates (-2,4) (-a million,a million) (0,0) (a million,a million) (2,4) Do the same for the others

This leads to the formula y = - 2 - x, which you can plot for different values of x. As you'll see, you get a straight line through coordinate (0, 2). Increasing x with 1, means decreasing y with 1.

When x = 0, y = -2, so plot (0,-2) on the y-axis. When y = 0, x = -2, so plot (-2,0) on the x-axis. Draw a line through the points.

x + y = -2

rewrite it as

y = - x - 2

the slope is -1 and the y intercept is -2
when y is 0, x = 2

so it crosses the y axis at (0,-2) and the x axis at (-2,0)

so put a point on each of those lines, and connect the dots, and that's your graph

What ! That's terrible, I say, is that a joke, man ? Nobody who knows what does "Graph" mean would ask that question ... Do you're homework alone, or you gonna regret it later on ... believe me. Well, just have a look on your notebook, ... and vote for me !

Rearrange it:
x + y = –2
y = -2 - x
It means: f(x) = - x - 2 = (-1) ( x + 2)

f(-2) = 0
f(-1) = -1
f(0) = -2
f(1) = -3
f(2) = -4

and so one..
