Don't you know anyone? No family or friends you could drop in on for an hour or so?
Tell you what though, if you really really don't, how about helping out at a homeless centre or the salvation army? Know it sounds a bit sad but at least you'll be helping others and be with people too. I bet they'll need help. If you're not like that, what about a pub. Chat to the people behind the bar.
Make sure you go out though, you'll feel better

Thank your lucky stars!
No having to share the best bits of the turkey. No one arguing over who gets to watch what on TV- not that there is ever anything worth watching....
You can open all your presents whenever you want to and get silently or raucously kaline if you want!
You don't even have to worry about a new outfit or hair do etc.
Not have to be polite to half wit relatives you see once a year!
Relax, take in your surroundings, count your blessings. Maybe even go out and say Happy Christmas to strangers in the pub or whatever.
It is only another day. Take care and live well.

you could try and do some volunteering work in a hostel or homeless centre. Or even Help The Aged that way you will surround yourself with people that will really appreciate you. I am sure that there will be plenty people feeling just like you are. Its a shame at Christmas though i am sure you will have a good one, Merry Christmas.

Why not go down to your local church. They may have something on for people who don't want to be alone on Christmas day. I know they are running such a scheme in Wigan so maybe there are doing something in your area too.

Consider volunteering at your local homeless shelter...my Uncle does it every year, even though he has family he could join...he has a better time there!
He has made loads of good friends over the years.

Being alone is one consideration, to not be alone then left afterwards is hard, so you should think what you need. You need to think who God says to be with, and how God says you should be yourself. That is to lay your life down as Christ did, and meet someone who loves in Gods love, any less is temporary.

volunteer at the local soup kitchen. they really do exist. ask the salvation army.
if you dont want to do that, i have seen adverts for people on their own to join others at a local centre, like a community centre. again, i bet the sally army could help you out. i was on my own last year and it was shite, good luck.

Find someone the same as yourself and invite them to your house.
There is more happiness in giving than receiving.
