that B. Hussein Obama is a Black supremecist/sepratist?
I found it interesting, he ditched his black supremecist church and spiritual advisor shortly before he began running for president. The website for the church is a little extreme and scary. so why does everyone trust this guy with so much to hide?

here is just one interesting article on it, if you google the words, you can find a ton more info

Lexus... I kind of see your point, to be honest, I worked at a gas station a couple of years ago, and if one customer is taking a long time, you lock the door, and unlock it to let them in, it doesn't matter who they are, it's annoying when you are trying to close and go home and someone thinks they deserve special treatment. And about catering to a race, no race should be catered to, especially to better that race, if the race can't step up and better themselves, they don't deserve to be catered to.

Does not really matter as the US will never elect a woman or an African-American.

I think you're somewhat overreacting. But then again I'm African American and the same reason I would never touch/date a white women is the same reason we disagree.

Black and white contrast each other. Often times the two misunderstand each other. Whites may never understand our struggle and maybe we'll never understand the white way. But we do regularly get a glimpse at how whites feel about us when they so regularly slip up in the media and tell us how they really feel.

Unfortunately the reality is some caucasions will never really understand what African Americans go through.

Great example:

I'm 27. I'm a Senior Systems Engineer now working as a Technology Solutions Manager. My fiance is an Industrial Engineer. We own our own home, we have a 7month old daugther, a mercedes and another late model car. I don't dress like a thug, my pants are hanging off my a$$, I don't look threatening at all. But at about midnight one evening (I live in an upscale somewhat snotty predominately white neighborhood) I went to the gas station after having some drinks with friends to get some smokes. When I approached the door (it was locked) I noticed a white guy buying something at the counter from an Indian guy. I tapped lightly on the door. The cashier (Indian) looked over at me, and proceeded to continue ringing up the customer. I though no biggie I'll wait patiently. Then the white guy looks over and then the Indian guy again. It was almost as if they were saying "let's see if he'll just go away" which I didn't I waited for the white male to exit the store. Do you know what he did when he walked out of the store? I jumped out slammed the door shut really quick and said "I'm sorry he told me not to let you in". Do you know how that made me feel? I felt like showing him and the Indian guy the same ignorance you assume we have in us. I wanted to snatch that bastard by his neck and whoop his a$$. Then kick in the door and whoop the other guy's a$$. But instead, I quietly went home I felt like I wouldn't give them my business now anyway. I filed a civil suit and got myself $25,000. The store video showed it all.

Day in and day out we're told to "get over it". That's much easier to do when it doesn't pop up every day. And by everyday I mean racism. When I tell stories to my caucasion friends/coworkers they will often say "NO, that doesn't still happen, you're kidding me". No we're not kidding. Turn on the TV any day of the week and hear about black churches being burned, radio figures and bounty hunters spewing racial slurs, black women being tortured by her ex white boyfriend and his family, black kids being sent to jail for nearly life for a fight which though the kids deserved punishment, the punishment didn't fit the crime.

It's very true that African Americans make jokes about whites and other racists in comedy, and I do agree that people are a lot more leanient (sp) when we make a derogatory comment but most of our comments stop at that...comments/jokes.

It's not often (actually I can't think of one incident) where you find racial slurs directed at whites spray painted on a church. It's not often a white man is drug behind a pickup truck merely on the basis that he was white. There's such a hatred for African Americans and it's truly disturbing.

How can we "get over it" when it continues day in and day out.

I know you're wondering when I will get to the point, here it is.

Often people ask "why do African Americans have a BET channel, that's racist, why can't we have a CET or a WET, channel". Well technically you do. ABC, NBC, and many other stations cater to a certain group. Sometimes things have to be done to ensure that our group is catered to.

I believe this so called church be belonged to, though a little extreme isn't out to be a sepratist church (in my opinion). I believe they're again catering to the betterment of African Americans. We're catering to our group. Much like BET.

It's more about improving our community (the African American).

Now with that said, I would also like to make two other points.

1. Just because he's African American doesn't mean he gets my vote. There are plenty of traitors and fakes out there. I believe that checking these guys voting record is key in making the right decision. How did they vote on healthcare, the war on terror etc.

2. I think it's important to know your source. There will be tons of propaganda floating on the Internet to bring down another's credibility. But it's important to use a trusted source.

This is a lie. He has attended the same church in Chicago, The Trinity United Church of Christ since the 80's. He talks about his journey with Christianity in his book, "The Audacity of Hope". You should read it.

Also, from now on if you want to check out urban legends or rumors about people or things, go to either snopes.com or truthorfiction.com. These people make a living at confirming or denying such things.
