Letting my parents down...

My parents died when I was young, so I don't deserve BA. Just want to say to all of you, forgive the yelling and try not to let them down. As a parent, it's harder than you think to 'let them down'. You'd be amazed at how proud of you they really are. Love them and LISTEN to them.

i am feeling Fabey j's answer and i think that is a good tactic to use on my son because he stays having me yelling at him and i am tired of loosing my voice. But yes letting parents down is way worse

Years ago when I was young, dumb and full of it (and NOT saved) I was into some really bad stuff. I was involved in this illegal "white-slavery" con, and without getting too much into detail, I was displayed in a window, on a chair, in the middle of downtown Seattle, at night in a not so lady like way, when my mother and step father drove by and saw me. The look on my mother face was a look I never want to see again in my life. To have disappointed her that much was enough for me to start the trip on getting my life together and walking right.
so to answer your question...letting down my parents

My dad was always angry anyway so I really couldn't tell if I ever let him down or not. lol He was the yeller and that use to hurt me all the time. Now my mama....it would break my heart if I knew I let her down or hurt her feelings in any kind of way. It would tear me apart. She is such a sweetheart and people be trying to use her(family too) and it pisses me off.

Neither. I love my mother but there were times I didn't respect her hence not even thinking of me letting her down but her letting me down.

Her yelling wasn't effect either. Not because I was a bad girl but again, respect.
