I am in 8th grade. At school I make my own rules. For example I eat when ever I feel like it in class. I walk out of study hall without asking and listen to music on the computers. Is this bad.

Yes. It is. It seems like you have no respect for authority or for your elders. If the rules say don't do it, try your best not to do it. Its really a simple concept.

Umm... yes. It shows that you have no respect for authority! I'm not going to lie. By the time you get to highschool, you'll find that most people act the same way and that 9 times out of 10, the teachers don't care, much less argue, but that kind of behaviour certainly isn't what I'd call good. The thing is that you should be earning the right to bend the rules, not just charging through them. Most teachers are pretty understanding if you missed lunch and decide to snack in their class, but if you make a habit of it, one of these days some teacher who'se having a rough day may take it out on you you'll get in more trouble than it's worth. On the other hand, if you are making a spectacle and eating in class just to challenge your teacher's authority, then that's unfair. You may not be afraid of your teachers and your actions may even amuse your friends, but a class full of precocious young heathens makes a teacher's job living Hell and it becomes practiacally impossible for them to do what they are being paid to do: teach. Teachers are people too, and as corny as it sounds, they can be hurt by being ridiculed and ignored, just as you would be.

It's bad. It must make it very difficult for the teachers. Why do you have to be a such a rebel?! You are not getting the most from school and it's likely you make it more difficult for your peers. Be a rebel in your own time!!

You're a brat. You don't get to make your own rules at a public school setting. You're just being rude and a dork by attracting attention to yourself. Do you have low self-esteem?

It's not only bad it is outrageous. Why don't you just go on home and quit wasting tax payers money on something you don't want to do anyway. You're in school to get an education for your future, but it looks like we know where your future is.

Yes, it's bad because you won't get anywhere in the real world like that. Try that at a job and see how long you last.
